What to Expect During Your Week

Monday
The VR headsets arrive, preloaded with career exploration experiences and accompanied by everything you need to get started.
Tuesday-Thursday
Tuesday to Thursday: Students dive into STEM career pathways in engaging 10–15 minute VR sessions. Plan for at least five classes and ensure a minimum of 150 students participate throughout the week.
Friday
The headsets are collected and sent to the next school, hassle-free.

How much does it cost?The program is completely free—fully funded by the Australian Government.

How is the equipment delivered and returned?The headsets will be delivered to your school on the Monday of your Roadshow week and collected again on Friday, making the process completely hassle-free.

How can schools in remote areas participate in the Roadshow?Put your hand up! We’re committed to reaching schools in metro, regional, and remote areas. If your school is in a remote location, we’ll work with you to ensure seamless delivery and support.

Can teachers and staff try the VR experiences?Absolutely! Teachers and staff are encouraged to try the VR experiences so they can better engage with students and understand the career pathways being showcased.

Is the program suitable for all year levels?The content is designed to engage secondary school students, particularly those in Years 7-12, but can be adapted for younger or mixed-age groups.

Do we need any special equipment or training?No additional equipment or training is needed. The VR headsets come preloaded, and we provide all the instructions and support you need.

What if our school has limited time or space?The program is flexible and can be adapted to fit your schedule or available space. Whether it’s a single class or a school-wide event, we’ll work with you.

How do we prepare for the Roadshow week?Our team will provide you with a checklist and support materials ahead of time to ensure everything is ready for a smooth and successful experience.

What happens if a headset is damaged during the program?Unlikely but if a headset is accidentally damaged, let us know immediately. We’ll work with you to address the issue and ensure the program continues smoothly.

How do we manage student participation across multiple classes?We recommend scheduling sessions in advance to maximise usage of the headsets. Our team can help you plan how to rotate them across different classes or events efficiently.
